Shihan Juan Queris (Pictured above, right)
The Chief Instructor is Shihan Juan Queris: He started his journey in martial arts in 1966. He holds degrees in Jidokwan Tae Kwon Do, Chinese Kung Fu, Hapkido, Shobayashi Shorin Ryu & Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu. Sensei Queris has competed in numerous tournaments throughout the USA for more than a 40 year period, and he emphasizes the philosophical and traditional side of the art rather than “sport karate”. Shihan Queris prefers to be called Sensei. Sensei Queris has trained numerous students to the level of black belt and instructor.
The AAU-USA National Karate Program also nationally certifies him as a
Coach and Referee.
Sensei Richard Pantaleon (Pictured above,
left)
Sensei Richard Pantaleon is Instructor and Manager. In 1989, Sensei Pantaleon received his first experience with martial arts while in the Marine Corps. He studied various levels of training in martial arts over the next 6 years and was reintroduced to martial arts in 2006 where he earned his black belt at Sensei Queris’ dojo.
The AAU-USA National Karate Program also nationally certifies him as a
Coach.
